Terms and Conditions for Deepin Insight Contributors

1. Acceptance of Terms
By participating as a contributor to Deepin Insight, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change, and we recommend reviewing them periodically.

2. Content Contribution

• Writing: You may submit articles in your native language and in English. Articles must be original and should not have been previously published on other platforms.
• Translation: Contributors are expected to translate their articles from their native language to English. Additionally, the Club de Software Libre Yachay Tech (CSLY) will handle the translation of articles from English to Spanish and will coordinate the receipt and publication of translations in other languages.

3. Philosophy of Free Software

• Open Access: At Deepin Insight, we promote the principles of free software, including transparency, open access, and collaboration. We believe in sharing knowledge and global cooperation to advance the development of free software and technology.
• Licenses: All published content will be available under a free content license, allowing for its use and modification according to the principles of free software.

4. Credits and Attribution

• Each article published in Deepin Insight will include the credits of its author. It is important that contributors provide their names and any other relevant details they wish to include in the credits.

5. Compensation and Certification

• Currently, we do not have the capacity to offer monetary compensation. However, we will consider offering compensation in the future based on our capabilities.
• As recognition for your contribution, the Club de Software Libre Yachay Tech may issue legal certificates of collaboration and translation, signed by the university. These certificates will be provided to contributors who complete their participation in the project.

6. Publication Rights

• By submitting your articles, you grant Deepin Insight a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, and distribute the content in any format and through any medium. This includes publication in the magazine and dissemination on related platforms.

7. Content Responsibility

• Contributors are responsible for the accuracy and originality of their articles. Deepin Insight and CSLY are not liable for any claims related to the content submitted by contributors.

8. Data Protection

• We respect your privacy. Any personal information provided will be used solely for purposes related to Deepin Insight and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Code of Ethics

• Respect and Collaboration: We foster an environment of mutual respect and collaboration. All contributors should act professionally and respectfully, promoting constructive and productive dialogue.
• Integrity and Honesty: Contributors must present accurate and truthful information. Honesty and integrity in content contribution and review are essential.

10. Modifications and Termination

• Deepin Insight reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. We may also terminate a contributor’s participation if these terms are violated.
